About the Unique Show
Come with your family and be lifted from your seats to a world of
colorful laser-light-magic created by a world-renowned animator
and laserist. "Celebrate Denver: A Smile-high Laser Show"
is based on Denver's 146 year-old history. Touching on the main
milestones, this unique laser show depicts the history of Denver
comparing it to a caterpillar as it goes through the many struggles
and triumphs of life. Jointly presented by Sorcar Engineering and
Ludvik Electric, this one-of-a-kind show with laser effects, animated
graphics and intelligent lights, is directed and animated by Manick
Sorcar of Manick Sorcar Productions. The 12 minute show is scheduled
to be shown every hour on the hour starting at 5 PM
.
About its creator
Manick Sorcar is an electrical engineer and an artist. At night
he pursues his interest in art in various forms. His animation videos
won top awards at international film festivals, and are regularly
telecast on PBS channels. His latest laser animation "Dancing
with my soul", which combines live action with animation, received
the Finalist Award at the 2004 Annual Conference of the International
Laser Display Association, at Las Vegas. An author of several lighting
design texts, by day he is the full time CEO/President of Sorcar
Engineering, Inc., which is responsible for the lighting design
of palaces in Saudi Arabia, sport centers in Japan, DIA concourses,
and the Colorado Convention Center expansion. Manick Sorcar Productions,
a branch of Sorcar Engineering, Inc. is certified for safety by
CDRH, and is a proud corporate-member of the International Laser
Display Association (ILDA), USA.
