CREATIVE KIDS/TEENS,
JOIN US TO CELEBRATE DENVER ON DECEMBER 9TH!
Enter your design in our Poster Contest for
the grand re-opening of the Colorado Convention Center where posters
will be on display and COOL prizes will be awarded to the winner
in each grade!
Get inspired and create a poster about what living
in the Mile High City means to you...the Rocky Mountains, the beautiful
sunshine...your family... be creative and use your imagination.
Best of all, the winners in each grade will receive the following
prizes:
| Grades K-3rd: Each
winner will receive a rad prize pack from "The
SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" featuring passes
for you and ten of your pals to see the film in theatres plus,
exclusive collectable items from the film! |

Grades 4-8: These "fortunate" winners
will receive passes for their entire class* to attend an exclusive
advance screening of the new movie "Lemony
Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events"
along with other horrible prizes from the movie, horrible
meaning you will be the envy of all your friends!
One winner per grade, class size not to exceed 30.

How to enter:
Just follow the rules below about designing your poster and go for
it! Be sure that the student's name, address, (parent's) phone number,
grade, school and teacher is on the back of poster or attached in
some way.
The deadline for entering posters into the contest is December 3,
2004, no later than 5pm. Posters can be dropped off at the Colorado
History Museum, 1300 Broadway, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday from noon to 4:30p.m. Closed November 25, 2004,
or Alice 105.9 FM in the Tech Center, 4700 S. Syracuse, #1050, Monday-Friday,
9am-5pm, also closed November 25.
Contest Rules:
- The contest is for all kids/teens in grades K-12
- The poster must have the words, Celebrate Denver! somewhere on
it
- All types of materials are encouraged to make this the most creative
poster possible
- The poster cannot be larger than three feet in any direction
- If the poster is 3-dimensional, it can only be two feet in any
direction
Prizes will be awarded to the winner in each grade .
